National Aquarium

The National Aquarium is a perfect addition to your Baltimore visit. With breathtaking sea life at every turn, there is something new to see with each visit. Explore the aquarium and learn about its conservation efforts. Then stop by the gift shop for a souvenir and one of the cafes for a bite to eat. 

Exhibits 

The National Aquarium boasts 13 impressive exhibits that have dozens of habitats. You can see creatures from northern Australia and the Indo-Pacific reef. Marvel at the fish, amphibians, invertebrates, sharks, rays, mammals, birds, reptiles, and turtles.

Tours

The aquarium offers several tours that give visitors an inside view of the aquarium’s operations and the animals’ homes. The tours require an additional ticket purchase in addition to the general admission ticket.

Experiences

Get up close and personal with the aquarium’s animals by booking an experience during your visit. Interact with the dolphins during a training session. Book a sleepover for your little ones. Or dive into the water and swim among the fish with the guest diver program.

Dining

There are several dining options available at the aquarium. The Pier 3 Cafe and Harbor Market Cafe offer quick bites. While the Harbor View Room offers alcoholic drinks and bar-style appetizers. 

How to Visit

The aquarium is open Sunday through Thursday from 9 a to 5 pm. On Friday and Saturday, the hours are later, from 9 am to 8 pm. Those entering the aquarium at the last entry time have 90 minutes to tour the aquarium. As the aquarium is located in the heart of downtown, several parking garages are nearby.

We do our best to get you into your room upon arrival, but we cannot guarantee you will be able to check in before 04:00 PM. We want your room to be perfect for you so our housekeeping team needs time to make that happen.

Please ask the property front desk for more details on late check out. We can sometimes give an extra hour or two but cannot guarantee it. Anything beyond 01:00 PM will incur additional charges.

We require a commitment for the full length of stay based on the booked arrival and departure dates. In the event that you depart early, we do not often have enough time to rebook the room so we do typically charge. Please discuss with our front desk in the event that your travel plans change during your trip.

Yes! We love pets! In the interest of the security and safety of all our guests, we do not allow pets above 40 lbs. We only allow dogs and cats. We charge a cleaning fee up to $350 pet for all pets (depending on length of stay).
