Where You Can Go 

Once you leave the dock, your Eboat can travel an impressive distance. One option is to head south on the Hillsborough River. You can cruise as far as 25 minutes south. However, you only need to go five to six minutes to reach the docks on Harbor Island. Here, you will find restaurants and shops. You can also dock at the Columbia Cafe and enjoy a world-class meal. 

Alternatively, you can take your Eboat north. Cruise past Curtis Hixon Park, the University of Tampa, and the Children’s Museum. Make your way to Water Works Park, where you will find boat docking. You can then dine at the popular Ulele Restaurant or one of the dining options at Armature Works. Getting here is about a 20-minute boat ride. You can skip this stop and travel a total of 30 minutes north and dock at Rick’s on the River. 

Standard Boats 

For most people, the standard boats will be the ideal option. They come in full canopy or sundeck varieties. Both styles are $89 per hour and can fit up to 10 people. Boats feature wrap-around limousine-style seating. You are welcome to bring your own food and drink to consume while on board. There is also a Bluetooth speaker for playing custom tunes. 

Premium Boats 

If you are looking for more space, consider renting one of the premium boats. There are two options: full canopy or sundeck. Both options are $129 per hour. While you don’t need a boating license, you do need to have previous boating experience. These boats are longer and wider than the standard Eboats. Because of this, they can fit up to 12 people. 

Seating on the boats is limousine style that wraps around the two side-by-side tables in the center. There is also a side counter that serves as a platter serving area. You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks to enjoy while on the boat. There is also a Bluetooth stereo for enjoying a custom soundtrack for your boating adventure. 

Specials 

Several discounts are available. Military members who are on active duty or retired can enjoy 10% off their rental at any time. There is also an early bird special for senior citizens 55+ with ID, police, firefighters, EMTs, nurses, teachers, and hospitality workers. You can enjoy $20 off your rental between 10 am and 4 pm Monday through Friday. 

How to Book 

If you would like to enjoy an Eboat rental, it’s best to make a reservation. Rentals are available between 10 am and 10 pm. You can book your Eboat for one, two, three, or four hours. Before each rental, you will receive all required safety equipment and training. Boat launch takes place from the docks at the Tampa Convention Center. Parking is easiest at the convention center’s parking garage.
